Description

Antique tall pine box on feet with half lid on top, made around 1920 in Eastern Europe probably. Shaped feet at the front. Plinth at the base; trims around the front panel. It's had various coats of paint over the years, the most recent being grey which has worn away partly to show a whiter colour beneath. We've given it a coat of wax to finish it. Some woodworm here and there, mostly underneath; we've treated it for good measure though it looks historic. The lid is a flap at the front so the rear part of the top can have things sitting on it. Condition is pretty good structurally: it's solid and sound. Cosmetically it has various scuffs, marks and scratches, mostly to the paint, as mentioned. Fairly rustic inside though nothing nasty.
